About Tina
Tina has been a psychologist since 1996. She is registered with APRAH with practice endorsements in Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology. She is a fellow of both the Clinical Neuropsychology College and the Clinical College of the Australian psychology Society.
Experience Across Private Practice, Hospitals and Research
Tina has spent thirty years assessing and diagnosing patients of all ages in private practice. She has worked with people using her skills in CBT, EMDR, and neuropsychology to enhance their mental health.
Tina has worked in hospitals (e.g., RBH, Prince Chrles, Ipswich Hospital) in assessment, diagnosis and treatment. She was awarded an Australian Research Council grant for her research pediatric brain injury and memory, has written and delivered memory rehabilitation programs.
A Thoughtful Approach to Complex Assessment
Tina assesses psychological functioning and thinking. She is skilled at diagnosing complex cases. Tina regards each person as unique and is familiar with the complexities of neurodivergence, mental health challenges, trauma and injury. Tina enjoys the additional challenge of working with children.
Tina is an independent expert and skilled communicator. She answers people’s questions and provides clear recommendations for what comes next. Tina liaises with other professionals (e.g., GPs, psychiatrists, allied health therapists, teachers) and systems (e.g. schools, NDIA) to advocate for the children, adults and families she assists.
Tina’s goal is to assist others using her professional skills and lived experience. She and finds this work personally rewarding. Tina is committed to ongoing professional development to further develop her skills, stay current, and best serve her patients.
